Licence: certificate “Active”, register “Assessment in progress”
The Curaçao Gaming Authority (CGA) certificate, read on 12 October 2026, says WinShark's brand domain “is operated by GBL Solutions N.V.” under licence number OGL/2024/589/0556, and: “The license was granted on 14/04/2025 and its current status is Active”.
The CGA's own register of operator licences, in the edition “Last updated October 9, 2026” and read on 12 October, lists the same licence differently. Row 297 reads: GBL Solutions N.V., B2C, 155090, issued 14-Oct-25, expires 14-Apr-26, “Assessment in progress”. The register edition is dated after that expiry date. The CGA does not explain the difference, and we draw no conclusion from it.
The certificate names only the brand domain; the site our Australian connection reached runs on a different numbered domain that the certificate does not list. The brand domain itself returned a security challenge (error 403) to our Australian and German connections on 12 and 16 October. The site we reached showed no licence seal; we found the certificate through a reference in the site's code.
Operator: not named to Australian visitors
The footer shown to Australian visitors names no company (12 and 16 October 2026); the CGA certificate names GBL Solutions N.V. The footer and §1.1 of the terms read: “This website owned and operated by a company registered in the Republic of Cyprus, with its principal place of business at Nicosia, Cyprus. All gambling services are provided by parent company, with its registered address at Curacao.”
A second footer text in the same page data is not displayed. It names GBL Solutions N.V. (Curaçao, no. 155090) and a payment agent, Ramtinar Techconsult Limited (Cyprus, HE 412602). That hidden text gives the operator's address as Seru Loraweg 17, Curaçao; the displayed About page gives Dr. Henri Fergusonweg 1, Curacao.
Australia in the terms and on ACMA's blocked list
Australia is not in the list of countries “where online gambling is illegal, so you cannot create an account” (§2.7). The terms print no version or date; we read them on 12 October 2026. On 12 and 16 October the site opened to an Australian-English lobby priced in A$ for our connection, with no geo-block message. We did not open the sign-up form.
ACMA, the Australian Communications and Media Authority, lists the brand domain, a second brand domain and one numbered domain among blocked gambling websites. We read the list on 11 and 12 October 2026; it was marked “Last updated: 20 July 2026”. The listed numbered domain redirected to the site we reached. We do not print these addresses.
Our connection is a data-centre address in Melbourne. Blocks on the list are applied by Australian internet providers, so what opened for us does not show what a home internet user sees. What a listing means for players is in our guide to online casinos and Australian law.
WinShark withdrawal limits and times
A new player can withdraw at most A$830 a day and A$16,600 a month (§9.2, loyalty levels 1–10). The per-transaction cap is the same A$830, and no more than three requests can be open at once. A win of A$5,000 at this level needs at least seven daily withdrawals (our arithmetic: 6 × A$830 = A$4,980). The caps rise with level, to A$1,660 a day and A$33,200 a month at levels 91–100.
Until identity, age and residence are verified, payouts are capped at €2,000 within 24 hours and €2,300 in total since registration (anti-money-laundering section). The minimum withdrawal is A$15 by bank transfer, A$90 in crypto and A$30 by other methods (§9.3).
The terms give no processing time in hours. §9.2: “All withdrawal requests are processed by the financial department after successful identity and account verification, Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00 (GMT+3).” The FAQ says some methods “work instantly, while others may take a few business days”; that is the operator's statement, and we did not test it. How the stages of a payout add up: withdrawal times.
Withdrawals go back by the deposit method, although the casino “reserves the right to transfer funds in a way different from the payment method specified” (§9.2, §9.3). It also “reserves the right to charge a processing fee for withdrawals” (§9.6) without stating an amount.
Terms that can cost you
Bets must reach three times the deposit before a withdrawal; otherwise the casino may keep “a commission of up to 10% of the withdrawal amount” (§9.3). On a withdrawal of A$500 that is up to A$50 (our arithmetic). The same clause also lets the finance department “refuse to withdraw funds with a charge of 10% of the withdrawal amount and ask the player to finish the necessary wagering”, and the anti-money-laundering section says “a Player always needs to have placed at least 3 (three) deposit amounts in bets before the Player is able to withdraw any founds” [sic].
Verification (KYC, the casino's identity checks) asks for ID, both sides of the payment card, a screenshot of the bank or e-wallet account, a utility bill no older than three months and, “if necessary”, a selfie with the ID (§9.2). Documents are due within 30 calendar days; otherwise “winnings will be confiscated and your account will be permanently closed” (§2.5). The check takes up to three business days, and a video call may be requested (§2.5.1). Where to turn in a dispute: casino complaints.
The home page shown to our Australian connection carries the label “VPN friendly” under the sign-up form (12 and 16 October 2026). The terms allow the casino “to void any winnings, to forfeit any balance (winnings and deposits)” if a player disguises the IP address of a device, “such as using a Virtual Private Network ‘VPN’” (§14.7). The label and the clause contradict each other.
The casino may charge an inactive account 5 EUR a month (§5.4).
Deposits and PayID
PayID is not confirmed: the cashier is shown only after login, and we did not open an account. None of the pages, terms, FAQ or site data we read on 12 and 16 October 2026 names PayID. Read why we mark PayID as not confirmed.
There is no public payments page. The FAQ mentions “credit and bank cards, e-wallets, and direct bank payment methods” that “may vary depending on your location”, and says deposits carry no fee. AUD is one of nine account currencies. The terms leave the minimum deposit to the payment method (§8.8).
WinShark bonus terms
We report these terms as published, not as an offer to Australian players. The welcome pack covers the first three deposits, “The maximum total bonus is A$4,150 + 300 Free Spins”; the page title says A$4,100, and we go by the terms. The first deposit gives 100% up to A$250 plus 50 free spins from A$35, or 50% up to A$3,320 plus 100 free spins from A$830. The second gives 80% up to A$330 plus 75 free spins, the third 60% up to A$500 plus 125 free spins, each from A$35.
Wagering is 45 times the bonus: an A$250 bonus means A$11,250 in bets (our arithmetic). The maximum bet is A$8. A bonus must be activated within 48 hours and is valid for 5 days. Winnings from deposit bonuses and free spins are capped at five times the deposit (bonus terms §11).
Slots count 100%, eligible instant games 10%, non-live roulette 5% and other games 0%. Live dealer games, table games and jackpots cannot be played with an active bonus (§24). We publish no codes. The bonus terms print no date; we read them on 12 October and found the welcome offer unchanged on 16 October 2026. How wagering works: bonus terms explained.
Games and providers
The lobby's studio list returned 108 studios to our Australian connection and 152 to a German one (12 October 2026). Evolution, NetEnt, Red Tiger, Hacksaw, Nolimit City and Relax were in the German list only. Studios in the Australian list include Pragmatic Play, Play'n GO, BGaming, Playtech and Yggdrasil. We did not check whether every listed studio's games open for Australian players.
Support and player tools
Support is by live chat, described as available 24/7, and by e-mail; we did not open the chat. The responsible gaming page offers a break of one day or one week, a reality check every 60, 90 or 180 minutes and self-exclusion by e-mail request. It describes no deposit limit tool.
For help it names Gamblers Anonymous, GamCare and Gambling Therapy; no Australian service is named. Australian services are on our support resources page. The brand domain was registered in December 2016 (whois); registration is not a launch date, and we state none.
How we checked
On 12 October 2026 (06:18–06:30 UTC) we rendered WinShark's home page, terms, bonus terms, welcome terms, FAQ and responsible gaming page in a browser from an Australian connection (Melbourne). On 16 October (18:12–18:14 UTC) we re-checked the home page, footer, promotions and access. On 17 October we re-read the home page, promotions and bonus terms for no-deposit offers. We read the CGA certificate and register and ACMA's list, and compared the studio list with a German connection.
We did not create an account, deposit or withdraw. This review gives no score: WinShark has not yet been rated against our scoring rubric.
How long do WinShark withdrawals take?
The terms give no time in hours. Requests are processed by the finance department after verification, Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00 (GMT+3). The FAQ says some methods work instantly and others take a few business days; that is the operator's statement. Verification takes up to three business days. If bets total less than three times the deposit, the casino may keep up to 10% of the withdrawal or refuse it until the wagering is finished (§9.3); the anti-money-laundering section requires bets of at least three deposit amounts before any withdrawal. A new player can withdraw at most A$830 a day (terms read 12 October 2026).
What is the minimum deposit at WinShark?
The terms state no figure: the minimum depends on the payment method (§8.8). The welcome bonus needs a deposit of at least A$35. The cashier is behind login, so we could not read method minimums. The minimum withdrawal is A$15 by bank transfer, A$90 in crypto and A$30 by other methods (terms read 12 October 2026).
Is WinShark Casino legit?
The CGA certificate for GBL Solutions N.V. showed “Active” for the brand domain on 12 October 2026. The CGA register of 9 October 2026 lists the same licence as “Assessment in progress”, expiring 14 April 2026. The site our Australian connection reached runs on a domain the certificate does not list. The footer shown to Australian visitors names no operator, and the brand domain is on ACMA's blocked list, last updated 20 July 2026.
Does WinShark have a no deposit bonus?
No: the site showed our Australian connection no no-deposit offer on 12, 16 or 17 October 2026. On 17 October the promotions page had six offers: the welcome pack, a weekly reload, a weekend reload, cashback, a bonus wheel and Treasure Map. Treasure Map is an October offer of one bonus a day for a deposit, open only to players with at least one deposit and wagered 45 times. The home page text lists “no deposit bonuses” among its promotions, but the promotions list had none. The bonus terms cap winnings from no-deposit bonuses at A$85 for a registration bonus and A$165 for no-deposit free spins.
