Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses. Google processes this data on servers that may be outside Australia, including in the United States, under its own privacy terms. You can stop this collection with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or by blocking cookies for this site in your browser; the site works without them.
A second analytics tool. Since 20 September 2026 the site also runs Ahrefs Web Analytics, which counts page views for the same purpose. It sets no cookies and assigns no identifier to your browser; it receives the page address you opened, the referring page, and your IP address, which it uses to derive an approximate country and does not store in full. Ahrefs processes this data under its own privacy policy on servers outside Australia. Blocking the domain analytics.ahrefs.com in your browser or an ad blocker stops it; the site works without it.
Content delivery and security. The site is served through Cloudflare, which sits between your browser and our server, caches pages and filters malicious traffic. Cloudflare sees the same request data as our server and may set a cookie for security purposes; it processes this data under its own privacy policy, on servers around the world.
Outbound casino links. Links marked “Visit” or otherwise pointing to a casino go through an address on our site of the form /goto/… before redirecting you to the casino. That address appears in our server logs like any other page, which is how we know a link was used; we do not attach your identity to it, because we do not have it. The casino, or the tracking service it uses, then records your arrival under its own policy and may set its own cookies. We are paid a commission when someone who arrived this way opens an account or deposits; the casino reports that to us as a number, not as a person. Cookies
We set no cookies of our own. Cookies present on the site come from Google Analytics (described above) and, where it applies them, Cloudflare (security); our second analytics tool, Ahrefs, sets none. We do not use advertising cookies, remarketing pixels or social-media trackers. We do not show a cookie banner because the site is written for readers in Australia, where the law does not require one; if you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the analytics cookies described above are not strictly necessary for the site to work and you can decline them by blocking cookies for this domain before browsing, or by using the opt-out add-on.
Why we process this information, and on what basis
To operate and secure the site, to measure what is read so that we can decide what to write, and to be paid for referrals we generate. For readers covered by the Australian Privacy Act 1988, this is collection reasonably necessary for the functions of an editorial website. For readers covered by the GDPR or the UK GDPR, our legal basis is legitimate interest in running, securing and understanding the use of the site; analytics cookies rest on your consent, which you give by browsing with cookies enabled and can withdraw as described above.
Who receives the information
Our hosting provider in Germany, which stores the server and its logs; Cloudflare; Google and Ahrefs, for analytics; and, if you follow an outbound link, the casino and its tracking provider. Where the information is held
Our server is in Germany. Cloudflare, Google and Ahrefs operate globally, including in the United States. How long we keep it
Server logs: 14 days. Google Analytics event data: 2 months, the retention set on this property (aggregated reports persist longer within Google Analytics). Emails you send us: for as long as the matter they concern is open, then deleted.
Your choices and rights
You can browse the site without cookies, block Google Analytics, and use a VPN or private browsing; none of these affects what you can read. Under the Australian Privacy Principles you may ask what personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it; in practice, unless you have emailed us, the answer is that we hold none we can connect to you. Under the GDPR and UK GDPR you additionally have rights to erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and to complain to your supervisory authority. To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. If you are in Australia and are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Children
