ecoPayz (Now Payz) at Australian Online Casinos (2026): The Rebrand, Who Still Carries It, and Where It Is the Only Way Out
ecoPayz has been called Payz since 10 May 2023: the same e-wallet, the same operator (PSI-Pay Ltd, an FCA-authorised e-money institution), the same accounts and balances, a new name. Casinos did not all follow. The name in the cashiers we read is still “ecopayz” at the three Novatrix sites that carry it, at Wolf Winner and King Johnnie, and at Casino Mate, and BitStarz's terms make it one of six wallets a USD account may withdraw to. This page says what changed and what did not, lists who has the wallet and under which name, and gives the printed figures — which at the one site that prints e-wallet speeds put payouts at zero to two hours.
The rebrand
The product began as the Eco Card in 2000, became ecoPayz in 2013 and was renamed Payz in May 2023. The legal entity behind it, PSI-Pay Ltd, is unchanged and holds the same UK e-money authorisation; accounts, balances, verification and card products carried over without re-registration. For a player the practical effects are two. Anything you read about “ecoPayz casinos” that predates mid-2023 is about the same wallet under the old name; and a cashier entry that still says ecoPayz is not a dead module the way a POLi entry is — it is a working integration that nobody relabelled, which tells you how often the cashier's method list is maintained.
Who has it, and under which name
| Casino | Score | Entry (19 Sep) | Printed terms |
|---|---|---|---|
| Casinonic, Ricky, King Billy | 7.5–7.8 | “ecopayz-wallet” module in the cashier configuration | Minimum withdrawal A$75 (Casinonic, Ricky); “within 72 hours of approval”; A$5,000 a week |
| Golden Crown, PlayAmo, Woo, CasinoChan, FastPay | 7.3–8.0 | No ecoPayz/Payz module; MiFinity, MuchBetter, Skrill and Neteller instead | — |
| BitStarz | 4.5 | Named in the terms: USD accounts “can only withdraw money via e-wallets such as EcoPayz, Interac, Instadebit, IDebit, Mifinity or Muchbetter” | Bank payouts in EUR, 3–10 banking days; e-wallets are the USD route |
| Wolf Winner, King Johnnie, Jackpot Jill | 4.3–4.8 | “ecopayz” entry in the Wolf Winner cashier; King Johnnie lobby copy names it | Min cash-out A$20 by e-wallet; 24-hour hold; 10% fee on unwagered cash-outs |
| Casino Mate | 4.3 | Listed with Visa, Mastercard, Skrill and Neteller | Wire minimum €/$100; 10,000 a week |
| The Realtime Gaming sites, Rocket, Ignition | 4.5–5.4 | Not on the banking strip or in the code | — |
Deposits, withdrawals, figures
- Two-way at every site that carries it. Unlike a voucher or a card, the wallet receives payouts: BitStarz names it as a withdrawal route; the Novatrix module is a wallet integration; the Wolf Winner family's A$20 e-wallet minimum applies.
- Speed. The only printed e-wallet payout speed in our set is FastPay's “0–2 hours” for Skrill, Neteller, MuchBetter and MiFinity; Payz is not on FastPay's list, but at the Novatrix sites that carry it the 72-hour processing commitment applies as to any method, and the wallet leg is instant once sent.
- Minimums. A$30 deposit at the Novatrix sites (A$45 for the welcome bonus); A$75 withdrawal at Casinonic and Ricky; A$20 at the Wolf Winner family.
- Fees. None printed by the casinos. Payz charges its own funding, conversion and withdrawal fees by account tier, and its silver-and-above tiers reduce them; check its fees page, because the casino leg is usually the cheaper half.
- Currency. Payz accounts hold multiple currencies; funding the casino in its account currency avoids one conversion.
Payz against Skrill, Neteller and MiFinity
Skrill and Neteller belong to Paysafe, tag funds for gambling at top-up, and apply Australia-specific card rules; in the Novatrix cashiers they also appear through crypto on-ramp modules that turn the deposit into crypto. Payz has no gambling tag and no on-ramp module in the configurations we read: the entry is the wallet itself. MiFinity and MuchBetter are the wallets the Novatrix platform and FastPay push hardest, with printed speeds; Payz is carried by fewer sites but is one of the routes BitStarz specifies for USD accounts. For an Australian player the choice is decided by the cashier in front of you: if Payz is there, it is a direct, two-way wallet with no gambling tag; if it is not, MiFinity or MuchBetter play the same role. Skrill and Neteller have the Paysafe rules; withdrawal times has every operator's clock.
Verification
Payz verifies the account holder; the casino verifies again. The Novatrix sites list an “e-wallet screenshot” among proof-of-payment documents, the wallet must be in the player's name at every site, and Fair Go and PlayCroco (which do not carry Payz, but whose clause is typical) may ask for “proof of how they fund e-wallets”. Screenshot the account page with your name and ID number and upload it before the first deposit. As with any e-wallet, choosing it over crypto keeps deposit limits enforceable, since Golden Crown's terms say crypto deposits cannot be capped.
FAQ
Is ecoPayz the same as Payz?
Yes. ecoPayz was renamed Payz on 10 May 2023; the operator (PSI-Pay Ltd), the licence, the accounts and the balances are unchanged. Casino cashiers that still say ecoPayz are running the same integration.
Which Australian online casinos accept ecoPayz/Payz?
Casinonic, Ricky and King Billy carry the wallet module; the Wolf Winner family and Casino Mate list it; BitStarz names it as a withdrawal route for USD accounts. Golden Crown, PlayAmo, Woo, CasinoChan, FastPay, the Realtime Gaming sites, Rocket and Ignition do not carry it.
Can I withdraw to Payz?
Yes, everywhere it is offered; it is a two-way wallet. The Novatrix sites commit to processing within 72 hours of approval; the Wolf Winner family holds every request 24 hours first.
Are there fees?
None from the casinos. Payz charges its own fees by account tier for funding, conversion and withdrawal.
Payz or MiFinity?
Whichever the cashier offers; both are direct, two-way wallets without a gambling tag. MiFinity is carried by more of the sites we review and has a printed payout speed at FastPay.

Cashier facts were read on 19 September 2026 from the payment-module configuration exposed by the Novatrix-platform lobbies, the Wolf Winner cashier code, the King Johnnie and Casino Mate sites, and the general terms and conditions of 24 operators, all from an Australian IP address. The rebrand date and operator are from PSI-Pay's announcement as reported by industry news in May 2023.
