Who runs PlayAmo and which licence it shows
The footer shown to our Australian connection and PlayAmo’s AU terms (clause 1.1) say the site “is owned and operated by Saphirix Solutions SRL, a company registered under the laws of Costa Rica” and “operates under license no. 0000091 issued by the Tobique Gaming Commission.” Our connection from Germany was shown the same footer, so it is not an Australia-only text.
The Tobique Gaming Commission validator, opened from the seal on the Australian page, listed Saphirix Solutions SRL with one registered website, www.playamo.com, and “Operating status: VALID”. The licence number comes from PlayAmo’s footer and terms, not from the validator.
The same site carries two other operators. Its root terms (last updated 23 Mar 2026) name Novatrix SRL, registration no. 3-102-893958, under Anjouan licence ALSI-202508056-FI2; a second copy pasted into the same page (last updated 10 Mar 2026) names Novatrix with Tobique licence no. 0000002. A third footer text in the site’s content system names Kika Technology B.V., Curaçao, under CGA licence OGL/2023/147/0081. We did not check which visitors are shown it.
PlayAmo in Australia: the ACMA block
ACMA named “Play Amo” and “Casino Chan” among 14 sites it asked Australian internet providers to block, in an announcement headed “ACMA moves to block 14 illegal gambling websites” (page last updated 29 Apr 2020). In ACMA’s words, “They have all been found by the ACMA to be available in Australia and operating in breach of the Interactive Gambling Act 2001.”
ACMA’s blocked-sites list, last updated 20 Jul 2026, includes playamo.com and 13 numbered addresses between playamo27.com and playamo43.com. Our Australian test connection runs through a data-centre address rather than a home internet provider, so the site opening for us does not mean the block has been lifted.
PlayAmo’s cookie bar, rendered in a browser from our Australian address on 11 Oct 2026 and absent from the German render, reads: “In proceeding I confirm that I am currently accessing this website outside of Australia.” We did not test what happens if a visitor declines. Australia is not in the list of restricted countries in clause 2.4 of the AU terms (version 1.0, read 11 Oct 2026); it appears only where the terms block games from NetEnt, Microgaming and Amatic for Australia. What the law means for a player is in our guide to online casino law in Australia.
PlayAmo withdrawal time and limits
The AU terms (clause 11.8) cap withdrawals at A$4,000 a day, A$16,000 over a rolling 7 days and A$50,000 over a rolling 30 days, with progressive jackpots outside these limits. A A$20,000 win therefore cannot be withdrawn within one week.
The payout time depends on which PlayAmo page you read. The terms say: “11.6. We aim to process all withdrawal requests within 72 hours of approval.” The payments page says: “We aim to process all withdrawals within up to 12 hours.” Both were live on 11 Oct 2026; the table above uses the terms. Bank transfers are “processed within 3 business days” (clause 11.10).
Three rules can stop a payout. Withdrawals stay pending until verification, and “If we are unable to reach you by phone or email within two (2) weeks of your withdrawal request, your account will be locked and your withdrawal will be canceled” (8.5). Each deposit must be wagered three times before it can be withdrawn (9.6). Winnings from a no-deposit bonus are capped at A$75 (11.7).
The cashier’s AUD list showed A$30–4,000 per request for PayAnyBank Australia and A$100–6,000 for local bank transfer; the second ceiling is above the A$4,000 daily cap in the terms. For comparison with other operators’ clauses, see withdrawal times.
PlayAmo bonus terms
The welcome offer on the AU promotions page is four deposit bonuses, each activated by a code typed in the cashier. We do not publish codes; below are the offers and the terms behind them, read on 11 Oct 2026.
| Deposit | Bonus | Free spins |
|---|---|---|
| 1st | 100% up to A$1,850 | 100 |
| 2nd | 50% up to A$1,400 | 50 |
| 3rd | 30% up to A$1,850 | – |
| 4th | 20% up to A$1,400 | – |
- Wagering: “All deposit bonuses have a wager x50.” No-deposit and free-spin bonuses are also x50 unless stated otherwise, and “A minimum deposit of €20 is required to cash out following a no-deposit or a free spin bonus” (bonus terms 1i).
- Minimum deposit for any deposit bonus: A$25 (1e).
- Maximum bet with a bonus: A$8 in the bonus terms (1d) and on the promotions page; the 2nd, 3rd and 4th deposit offer pages say A$10.
- First-deposit free spins: “added as a set of 20 per day for 5 days” (2a), after the deposit is wagered once; their winnings carry x50. The promotions page says the first 20 are added immediately.
- Maximum win from bonuses other than the welcome offer: A$10,000 (1b).
Other PlayAmo texts do not match these figures. The registration form advertises “AUD 6500 +150 FREE SPINS for 1-2 deposits”, while A$6,500 is the sum of all four deposit caps. A welcome pop-up offers “Starter 100% up to 400 AUD + 100 FS, Min. Dep. 30 AUD”. Bonus term 1j says “No bonuses are available for any of the crypto currencies”, yet the site lists a First Crypto Deposit Bonus.
The AU promotions page had no 25-free-spin sign-up or no-deposit offer on 11 Oct 2026; 25 free spins appear only as one prize of the site’s Wheel of Fortune. An install banner for the PlayAmo app (a browser app for iOS and Android) offers “Bonus 10 FS”; we did not read its terms. How these caps compare across operators: no-deposit bonuses.
Games and providers
We did not count PlayAmo’s lobby for this review, so it gives no game or studio totals.
Deposits and the cashier
The cashier’s AUD method list, read without an account, showed four methods: PayAnyBank Australia, local bank transfer, an e-wallet and crypto. PayID not confirmed in the cashier on 11 Oct 2026. How PayID works at the casinos that do show it: PayID casinos.
PlayAmo complaints: what we found
We looked for regulator and dispute-body records, not forum posts. The regulator record is ACMA’s block, described above. PlayAmo’s AU complaints policy (clause 5) names its dispute body: “We cooperate with EGIS (https://egis.io/), which operates under the regulations of the Tobique Gaming Commission”, with the address disputes@egis-adr.com.
EGIS’s website showed no public list of cases on 11 Oct 2026, so we cannot say how many PlayAmo disputes it has handled; that is not the same as no complaints. The Tobique validator offers a complaint form and no public list. Where complaints about offshore casinos can go: online casino complaints in Australia.
Pros and cons
What PlayAmo does well
- Names its operator, registration number and licence number; the regulator’s validator showed the company as VALID for www.playamo.com.
- Withdrawal caps are written in AUD for a day, a week and a month, with progressive jackpots outside them.
- The AU complaints policy names a dispute body, EGIS.
- Bonus wagering, maximum bet, minimum deposit and cash-out caps are stated in numbers.
What should give you pause
- playamo.com and 13 mirrors are on ACMA’s blocked list.
- Three operating companies are named across the site’s terms and footers.
- Its own pages disagree on payout time (72 vs 12 hours), maximum bet (A$8 vs A$10) and the welcome headline.
- x50 wagering on deposit bonuses, and by default on no-deposit and free-spin bonuses.
- A withdrawal is cancelled if the casino cannot reach you within two weeks.
- The cookie bar asks visitors from Australia to confirm they are outside Australia.
Sister casinos: CasinoChan and Woo Casino
PlayAmo, CasinoChan and Woo Casino name the same operating companies in their footers: Novatrix SRL and Kika Technology B.V., and for PlayAmo and CasinoChan also Saphirix Solutions SRL (footers read 11 Oct 2026). Woo Casino’s Tobique footer names Novatrix under licence no. 0000002, not Saphirix.
casinochan.com (with 6 mirrors) and woocasino.com (with 9) are on the same ACMA list. Our links to all three brands and to Bizzo Casino run through one affiliate programme, PlayAmo Partners; a shared affiliate programme is not evidence of a shared owner.
How we checked
All checks were made on 11 Oct 2026 from two points: an Australian exit node (a data-centre address in Melbourne) and our server in Germany. We read PlayAmo’s AU terms, root terms, bonus terms, payments page, complaints policy and promotions page, its AUD cashier list without an account, the Tobique validator, EGIS’s website and two ACMA pages. Footers and offers can differ by region and day; these are one day’s results. Bonus codes printed on PlayAmo’s pages were not copied. Our method: how we review casinos.
Is PlayAmo legit?
PlayAmo names its operator, Saphirix Solutions SRL, and Tobique licence no. 0000091, and the Tobique validator showed the company as VALID for www.playamo.com on 11 Oct 2026. Against that, ACMA has playamo.com and 13 mirrors on its blocked list (last updated 20 Jul 2026), and the site’s own terms name two other operators.
What is the PlayAmo withdrawal limit?
A$4,000 a day, A$16,000 over a rolling 7 days and A$50,000 over a rolling 30 days under the AU terms read on 11 Oct 2026; progressive jackpots are outside these limits. Per request, the cashier showed A$30–4,000 for PayAnyBank Australia and A$100–6,000 for local bank transfer.
What is the wagering on the PlayAmo welcome bonus?
x50: the bonus terms say “All deposit bonuses have a wager x50.” The maximum bet with a bonus is A$8 in the bonus terms, while the 2nd to 4th deposit offer pages say A$10, and a deposit bonus needs at least A$25 (read 11 Oct 2026). We do not publish bonus codes.
Does PlayAmo accept PayID?
PayID not confirmed in the cashier on 11 Oct 2026. The AUD cashier list showed PayAnyBank Australia, local bank transfer, an e-wallet and crypto.
Which company runs PlayAmo in Australia?
The footer and terms shown to our Australian connection on 11 Oct 2026 name Saphirix Solutions SRL, Costa Rica (registration no. 3-102-933997), under Tobique licence no. 0000091; our German connection saw the same footer. The site’s root terms still name Novatrix SRL, and another footer text names Kika Technology B.V.
