Mirax on ACMA's blocked list
ACMA, the Australian Communications and Media Authority, lists the brand's main domain among blocked gambling websites, together with two numbered domains carrying the Mirax name. The main domain is the one the site was served from on our checks. We read the list on 12 October 2026 and again on 16 October, with the same three entries. They are named in the Sources as ACMA lists them, without links.
ACMA says it asks internet service providers to block access to the websites on its list. Our Australian connection is a data centre, not a home line, so the site opening there does not show what a home connection sees. What a listing means for players: our guide to online casinos and Australian law.
Mirax and Australian visitors
On 12 October 2026 the site opened on our Australian connection with a lobby, offers in A$ and no notice turning Australian visitors away. The site's own data listed Australia, with AUD as its default currency, in its country list. This was one check on one day.
The restricted-country list in the terms shown to Australian visitors (§2.4) runs from Afghanistan to Yemen and does not name Australia.
Operator and licence: Saphirix Solutions SRL, Tobique validator VALID
§1.1 of the terms says the website “is owned and operated by Saphirix Solutions SRL, a company registered under the laws of Costa Rica”, registration number 3-102-933997, and adds: “The Company operates under license no. 0000091 issued by the Tobique Gaming Commission.” The footer names the same company and licence.
The commission's validator, opened from the site's seal, showed Saphirix Solutions SRL and “Operating status: VALID” on a page “generated on Oct 12, 2026”. It prints no licence number, so the number 0000091 rests on the operator's word. What such a licence does and does not give an Australian player: our guide to online casinos and Australian law.
Our casino sister sites guide lists Mirax with Saphirix Solutions SRL and in the 7Bit family.
Mirax withdrawal limits and times
The terms cap withdrawals at A$20,000 a week and A$80,000 a month (§11.8). The weekly limit is a rolling seven days that “Resets each 7 days from your first cashout in a calendar month and on the 1st of each month.” “Progressive jackpot wins are paid in full and do not count toward these limits.”
The site's FAQ gives different figures: “a weekly limit of 10,000 USD/EUR and a monthly limit of 40,000 USD/EUR”. The terms and the FAQ disagree; this page follows the terms.
Each withdrawal is capped by the method: “the exact limit will appear during withdrawal”, and a larger request “may be split into multiple installments” (§11.1). The payments page caps every method at A$4,000. The AUD list shown before login allows local bank transfer up to A$6,000 and other payout methods up to A$4,000.
“We aim to process all withdrawal requests within 72 hours of approval,” says §11.6; “All bank transfers are processed within 3 business days” (§11.10). The payments page gives 3–5 banking days for cards, 5–7 for bank transfer (minimum A$500) and “Instant” for e-wallets and crypto. “Instant” is the page's label, not a tested time. How the stages add up: withdrawal times.
Before a withdrawal: turnover, verification and fees
- Turnover (§9.6): “Any deposit must be wagered three (3) times the deposited amount before you may withdraw those funds. For table and live games, deposits must be wagered ten (10) times the deposited amount. If you make multiple deposits without any gameplay, you must wager the combined total of all deposits before initiating a withdrawal.”
- Verification (KYC, the casino's identity checks): photo ID and proof of address at minimum (§11.2), possibly a phone call. “Withdrawal requests will remain pending until all required verification steps are completed. If we are unable to reach you by phone or email within two (2) weeks of your withdrawal request, your account will be locked and your withdrawal will be canceled” (§8.4). For “false or incomplete KYC documents” the casino “may refuse your payout and terminate your account” (§11.2). A video check is possible, and “Failure to comply will result in account closure and forfeiture of funds” (§9.4).
- Fees: the payments page is headed “without any fee” yet lists 2.5% on some card and e-wallet deposits and card withdrawals; the AUD method list shows no fee on any method. Your bank's own fees are yours (§11.12).
- Inactive accounts (§12.1): after 12 months without login or play, the casino may charge “a monthly dormancy fee of €20 (or currency equivalent), deducted from your remaining balance. If your balance is less than €20, we will deduct the entire balance instead.” The fee is taken each month “until the balance reaches zero or you reactivate your Account by logging in and placing a wager” (§12.2).
Deposits and PayID
PayID is not confirmed. The AUD method list the site returned before login on 12 October 2026 has no method named PayID, and neither does the payments page. That list offers payouts by PayAnyBank and local bank transfer, which are bank transfers, not PayID, plus crypto. Read why we mark PayID as not confirmed.
The payments page shows a wider set: cards, e-wallets such as MiFinity and Skrill, Neosurf and Flexepin, from A$10 per deposit. It also lists Interac and Sofort, which are not Australian methods, so it does not show what an Australian account gets. The terms set the minimum deposit at “€10 (or equivalent)” (§10.4).
Mirax bonus terms
We report these terms as published on 12 October 2026, not as an offer. The welcome package is up to A$8,000 plus 150 free spins over four deposits:
- 1st deposit: 100% up to A$800 plus 100 free spins on Candy Monsta (BGaming).
- 2nd: 75% up to A$1,200 plus 50 free spins. 3rd: 50% up to A$2,000. 4th: 100% up to A$4,000. These deposits use codes, which we do not publish.
- Rules: minimum deposit A$40; the bonus is wagered 35 times within 14 days; free-spin winnings are also wagered 35 times and capped at A$200; maximum bet A$2.
A A$800 first-deposit bonus means A$28,000 in bets before withdrawal (our arithmetic). Pokies count 100%, card and casual games 5%, roulette, poker and live games 0%.
We saw no no-deposit offer on 12 October 2026. The rules for one are set: winnings capped at A$40, and nothing can be withdrawn until A$20 has been deposited. How wagering works: bonus terms explained.
Games and providers
The lobby's studio list returned 45 studios to our Australian connection and 86 to a German one (12 October 2026). Evolution, Pragmatic Play and NetEnt were not in the Australian list. Studios in it include BGaming, Yggdrasil, Playson, Booongo, Betsoft, Spribe, Evoplay and Tom Horn.
Pros and cons
What is written down
- Operator and registration number named in the terms and footer; the Tobique validator showed the company as VALID.
- Weekly and monthly caps in AUD, with jackpots paid in full.
- Wagering, bet limit and expiry stated for the welcome package.
What should give you pause
- The domain the site is served from is on ACMA's blocked list.
- The FAQ and the terms give different withdrawal limits; the payments page and the AUD method list disagree on fees.
- Withdrawals cancelled if the casino cannot reach you within two weeks; not completing a requested video check means account closure and forfeiture of funds.
- After 12 months without login or play, the casino may take €20 a month from the balance until it reaches zero.
- PayID not confirmed; Evolution, Pragmatic Play and NetEnt not in the studio list shown to our Australian connection.
How we checked
On 12 October 2026 (06:05–06:40 UTC) we rendered Mirax's home page, terms, bonus terms, payments and promotions pages in a browser from an Australian connection (Melbourne). We read the AUD method list, country and currency lists and the studio list from the site's own data, compared studios with a German connection and opened the Tobique validator from the site's seal. On 16 October 2026 we re-read ACMA's list and the domain redirects; bonus figures and terms were not re-read.
We did not create an account, deposit or withdraw. This review gives no score: Mirax has not yet been rated against our scoring rubric.
Is Mirax Casino licensed?
Its terms name Saphirix Solutions SRL of Costa Rica and Tobique Gaming Commission licence no. 0000091. The commission's validator showed the company with “Operating status: VALID” on 12 October 2026 but printed no licence number. It describes the licensee as authorised to offer games of chance “in accordance with the Tobique Gaming Act 2023”; what that gives an Australian player: our guide to online casinos and Australian law.
Is Mirax Casino blocked in Australia?
The brand's main domain, from which the site is served, and two numbered Mirax domains are on ACMA's list of blocked gambling websites (read 12 and 16 October 2026). ACMA says it asks internet service providers to block access to the websites on its list. The restricted-country list in the terms does not name Australia.
What are the Mirax withdrawal limits?
The terms cap withdrawals at A$20,000 a week and A$80,000 a month; progressive jackpot wins do not count (§11.8). Each withdrawal is capped by the method: A$4,000 on the payments page, up to A$6,000 for local bank transfer in the AUD method list. The FAQ's lower figures of 10,000 and 40,000 USD/EUR disagree with the terms (read 12 October 2026).
What is the Mirax welcome bonus?
Up to A$8,000 plus 150 free spins over four deposits: 100% up to A$800 plus 100 free spins, 75% up to A$1,200 plus 50 free spins, 50% up to A$2,000 and 100% up to A$4,000. Minimum deposit A$40, wagering 35 times within 14 days, maximum bet A$2. The later deposits use codes, which we do not publish (bonus terms read 12 October 2026).
Responsible gambling and the law
In ACMA's words, the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 “makes it illegal for gambling providers to offer some online services to people in Australia”, including “online casinos” (acma.gov.au, About the Interactive Gambling Act, read 12 October 2026; what the law means for players).
