Joo Casino Review: No Operator or Licence Shown to Australian Visitors

CASINO REVIEW

Joo Casino shows Australian visitors no operator and no licence, and its main domain is on ACMA's list of blocked gambling websites together with eight other Joo domains (checked 16 October 2026).

Advertising disclosure. We earn a commission if you open an account with a casino through the offer links on this page. The casino pays it; it does not change what you deposit, the bonus you are offered or the terms you play under. The facts and the rating in this review come from reading the operator’s own terms and cashier, and a commission does not move either. No casino reviewed here holds an Australian licence — online casino games cannot be licensed in Australia — and the decision to register is yours alone. 18+ only. Full disclosure. No referral link: we have no affiliate link for Joo Casino, and this page does not link to its site.

Operator and licence: what Australian visitors see

The footer shown to our Australian connection on 16 October 2026 read only: “Casino accepts players only over 18 years of age.” It names no company, registration number, licence or regulator's seal. The terms shown to Australia call the business “the Casino” and “the Company” and name no one.

The site's content system holds a footer text written for an Estonian licence, which is not shown to visitors from Australia. It names Dama N.V. of Curaçao (company no. 152125) as brand owner and KingsWin Online OÜ, an Estonian company, as website operator under permits of the Estonian Tax and Customs Board. Those permits concern players in Estonia; we did not check them.

The Curaçao Gaming Authority's certificate for Dama N.V., licence OGL/2023/174/0082, shows “License status: Active”. Its list of approved domains names one other domain and not Joo's (opened 16 October 2026). The certificate says Dama N.V. has been licensed “since 23/Aug/2024”; the regulator's register, edition of 14 October 2026, lists the licence as issued on 24-Dec-25. We found no licence that names Joo's domain.

ACMA blocks and access from Australia

ACMA, the Australian Communications and Media Authority, lists the brand's main domain and eight other domains carrying the Joo name among blocked gambling websites. The site was served from the main domain on our checks. We read the list on 16 October 2026; the main domain is named in the Sources as ACMA lists it, without a link.

The site opened on our Australian connection on 12 and 16 October 2026, with the language set to “English - AU”, AUD among its currencies and no geo-block message. The connection is a data centre, not a home line. ACMA says it asks internet service providers to block access to the websites on its list, so these checks do not show what a home connection sees.

The restricted-country list in the terms (§2.4) does not name Australia, in the version shown to Australia or in the version shown to our German connection. The two versions differ: the German one was “Last updated: 22.09.2025”, a year after the Australian one.

Joo Casino withdrawal limits and times

The terms cap withdrawals at “3,000 EUR/USD or it’s equivalent in other currencies” a week and 15,000 EUR/USD a month (§11.10). The caps are set in EUR and USD; the terms give no AUD figure. VIP players and players with high lifetime deposits get higher caps (§11.11–11.12); “All progressive jackpot wins will be paid in full.” Mystery Drops winnings “are not progressive jackpots” and have their own limits of 2,500 EUR/USD a day and 12,000 EUR/USD a month (§11.9).

Each withdrawal is also capped by the method, which the terms leave to the cashier (§11.1). The AUD method list shown before login caps payouts at A$4,000, or A$6,000 for one bank-transfer option. The minimum is 30 AUD (§11.1).

“The withdrawal request are processed from 0 to 24 hours depending on the chosen payment method, but, please, keep in mind that some web wallets take up to 1 day to process the withdrawal request” (§11.7). If identity needs checking, “the withdrawal can be hold up to 72 hours” (§11.14). We did not test a payout. How the stages add up: withdrawal times.

  • Turnover (§9.6): “Any deposit has to be wagered 1 time (player must place bets one time of their deposit amount) before the withdrawal of funds connected to this deposit is available. In case several deposits were made with no gaming activity, player has to wager the total amount of these deposits prior to withdrawal.” If money laundering or fraud is suspected, the casino can ask for deposits to be wagered “at least 3 times”.
  • Verification (KYC, the casino's identity checks): documents “may include, but are not limited to, passport details, identification cards, documents confirming place of residence, as well as statements confirming the source of funds, different types of selfies”. If a player refuses them or inconsistencies are found, “the casino reserves the right to close the player's account and confiscate funds from the account”, a decision the terms call “final and not subject to appeal” (§11.3). For false personal data the casino may “cancel all bets and winnings as well as terminate user's account” (§11.14).
  • Phone check and two-week deadline (§8.4): a phone call can be part of KYC, and “if we are not able to reach you (by email or phone) in two (2) weeks as from the date of the request for withdrawal, your account will be locked due to your failure to pass the KYC procedure.”
  • Bank charges (§11.16): bank transfers can in exceptional cases carry intermediary bank charges, which the terms say are “in our experience limited to the equivalent of EUR 16”.
  • Inactive accounts (§12.1–12.2): after 12 months without login, the casino may charge a monthly fee of “25 EUR or the equivalent in another currency (or the current balance of your Player Account, if less)” while the balance remains positive; the casino stops “if the account balance is zero or if the account is re-activated”.

Deposits and PayID

PayID is not confirmed. The AUD method list the site returned before login on 12 and 16 October 2026 has no method named PayID. Its payout options include PayAnyBank and local bank transfer, which are bank transfers, not PayID, plus an e-wallet and crypto. Read why we mark PayID as not confirmed.

Deposits in that list include Neosurf from A$20 and an e-wallet from A$30. Most methods carry the platform's “instant” label, which is a field in the site's data, not a payout time. The terms mention card payouts (§11.4), but no card method is in the AUD list. The site's payments page sent our Australian connection back to the welcome page.

Joo Casino bonus terms and codes

We report these terms as published, not as an offer to Australian players. The bonus terms (“Last updated: 20.01.2026”, read 16 and 17 October 2026) split up to A$28,500 plus 300 free spins over four deposits:

  • 1st deposit: 100% up to A$4,500 plus 100 free spins. 2nd: 50% up to A$6,000 plus 50 free spins. 3rd: 50% up to A$12,000 plus 50 free spins. 4th: 100% up to A$6,000 plus 100 free spins.
  • Wagering: 40 times for each deposit bonus; minimum deposit A$30. Pokies count 100%, live games 5%.
  • Time: money bonuses expire in 7 days, free spins in 3 days.
  • Caps: welcome free-spin winnings capped at A$300; withdrawals from a bonus limited to 5 times the bonus amount, “unless otherwise stated in the bonus offer”.
  • Maximum bet while wagering: we found no figure in the bonus terms.

The free spins are credited on Gates of Olympus Super Scatter, a Pragmatic Play game. Pragmatic Play was not in the studio list returned to our Australian connection, and the terms name no substitute game for the welcome spins.

Each deposit offer uses a code; we do not publish codes. We saw no current no-deposit offer on 12, 16 and 17 October 2026. The bonus terms exclude Australia from such offers: “7.3. Players from the following countries can not use no deposit bonuses: … Australia, …” How wagering works: bonus terms explained.

Games and providers

The lobby's studio list returned 125 studios to our Australian connection on 16 October 2026; on 12 October a German connection got 202. Pragmatic Play, Evolution, Hacksaw Gaming and Relax Gaming were not in the Australian list. Studios in it include BGaming, Betsoft, Booongo, Playson, Playtech, Yggdrasil, Spribe and Novomatic.

Pros and cons

What is written down

  • A processing time of 0–24 hours by method, stated in the terms.
  • Wagering, expiry and caps stated for each deposit offer.
  • A 30 AUD minimum withdrawal.

What should give you pause

  • No operator or licence shown to Australian visitors; the only certificate we found lists another domain.
  • The brand's main domain and eight other Joo domains are on ACMA's blocked list.
  • Weekly and monthly caps set in EUR and USD, not AUD.
  • The account is locked if the casino cannot reach you within two weeks of a withdrawal request.
  • Welcome spins on a game whose studio was not in the studio list shown to our Australian connection.
  • No maximum bet stated for bonus play; PayID not confirmed.

How we checked

On 12 October 2026 (06:06–06:35 UTC) and 16 October 2026 (18:20–18:45 UTC) we rendered Joo Casino's home page, terms and bonus terms in a browser from an Australian connection (Melbourne), and the terms from a German connection. We read the AUD method list, country lists, studio list and footer texts from the site's own data. We opened the Curaçao certificate, read the regulator's register of 14 October and read ACMA's list on 16 October. On 17 October 2026 we re-read the bonus terms and promotions page from the same Australian connection.

We did not create an account, deposit or withdraw. This review gives no score: Joo Casino has not yet been rated against our scoring rubric.

Is Joo Casino licensed?

The site shows Australian visitors no licence and no operator. Hidden text in its content system names Dama N.V. as brand owner; that company's Curaçao certificate, OGL/2023/174/0082, shows “Active” but lists another domain as approved, not Joo's. The certificate gives “since 23/Aug/2024”; the regulator's register of 14 October 2026 gives 24-Dec-25 (checked 16 October 2026).

Is Joo Casino blocked in Australia?

The brand's main domain and eight other Joo domains are on ACMA's list of blocked gambling websites (read 16 October 2026). ACMA says it asks internet service providers to block access to the websites on its list. The restricted-country list in the terms does not name Australia.

Does Joo Casino have bonus codes or a sign-up bonus?

The welcome package covers four deposits, up to A$28,500 plus 300 free spins, each wagered 40 times, from a A$30 deposit. Each deposit offer uses a code; we do not publish codes. We saw no no-deposit offer, and the bonus terms (§7.3) say players from Australia cannot use no-deposit bonuses (read 12, 16 and 17 October 2026).

What are Joo Casino's withdrawal limits?

3,000 EUR/USD a week and 15,000 EUR/USD a month or the equivalent, higher for VIP players; progressive jackpots are paid in full (§11.10). Per withdrawal, the AUD method list caps payouts at A$4,000, or A$6,000 for one bank-transfer option. The minimum is 30 AUD (terms read 16 October 2026).

Is Joo Casino closing?

The site's content system holds a notice that reads: “our project will cease operations as of 02.09.2025”. We did not see it displayed, and the site opened on our Australian connection on 16 October 2026. We do not know where the notice is shown.

Responsible gambling and the law

The responsible-gaming text shown to Australia names no self-service tools and lists Gamblers Anonymous, GamCare and Gambling Therapy, none of them Australian. In ACMA's words, the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 “makes it illegal for gambling providers to offer some online services to people in Australia”, including “online casinos” (acma.gov.au, About the Interactive Gambling Act, read 12 October 2026; what the law means for players).
