Betzillo licence: claimed, not verified
Nothing we found supports Betzillo's licence claim. The home page says Betzillo is “operating under a Curaçao licence”, with no number. The footer carries no regulator seal and no link to a validator. The terms, bonus terms, about page and FAQ do not mention a licence or Curaçao at all (12 October 2026).
We searched the Curaçao Gaming Authority (CGA) register, edition “Last updated October 9, 2026”, on 12 October: “Betzillo” appears in none of its 666 rows. The Anjouan register, including its revoked and suspended lists, had no match the same day.
The terms name the contracting company only as “Betzillo Limited” (clause 2.1), with no country, number or address, so no company register can be searched. The anti-money-laundering policy mentions an unnamed “Master License Holder” and Curaçao's Financial Intelligence Unit, without a licence holder's name or number.
Betzillo on ACMA's blocked list
ACMA, the Australian Communications and Media Authority, lists Betzillo's brand domain among blocked gambling websites, along with eight other domains with Betzillo names. We read the list on 11 and 12 October 2026; it was marked “Last updated: 20 July 2026”. We do not print these addresses. Betzillo's own pages address Australians. The home page says the site “accepts AUD and has several bonuses for Aussies”; the about page calls Betzillo “a fresh and exciting Australian brand”. Its sportsbook welcome offer is “exclusively available to residents of Australia and New Zealand”. The terms list no countries; they refuse players “Residing in jurisdictions from where it is illegal or gambling is not permitted” (4.5).
Betzillo withdrawals: what the terms fix and what they leave open
The terms give no minimum withdrawal figure: it “will be identified on the website when performing a withdrawal” (8.7). The home page names A$50, but no clause backs that figure. We found no daily, weekly or monthly withdrawal cap for the casino in the terms, bonus terms or FAQ. The only cap we found is in the sportsbook rules: winnings of at most AUD 100,000 per customer per day.
The FAQ says requests are “processed within 24 hours”, and the money can then take 24 hours to reach a bank account. These are the operator's statements; we made no withdrawal. How the stages of a payout add up: withdrawal times.
Several clauses can hold a payout back:
- Deposit turnover: “You need to wager 3x the value of your deposit in order to request a FIAT withdrawal” (8.5). A deposit of $100 therefore means $300 in bets first (our arithmetic).
- Same method: withdrawals go to the method used to deposit, “unless we decide otherwise or are unable to do so” (8.3).
- Fees: “Betzillo may charge You a fee on withdrawals at its discretion” (8.9); no amount is given.
- Verification: a withdrawal can be refused until the player's identity is verified (8.1). The anti-money-laundering policy may ask for a passport or driver's licence, a selfie holding it, a utility bill and bank statements.
- Active bonus: no deposit or withdrawal until the bonus wagering is completed or the bonus is forfeited (12.6.1).
Deposits and PayID
PayID is not confirmed: no page we read names it, and the cashier needs a login. A request to the cashier's list of deposit methods returned “Unauthorized.” on 12 October 2026. We read the home page, FAQ, terms, bonus terms, anti-money-laundering policy, about page and promotions. More on why we mark PayID as not confirmed.
The minimum deposit is $30 (terms 7.1.1). The FAQ lists two kinds of method, credit cards and crypto. The home page adds AUD bank payments and names Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT and USDC. We could not see which methods the cashier actually offers.
Casino bonus terms
The casino welcome package covers three deposits: 100%, 150% and 200%, each up to $500, so at most $1,500 in bonus. Each comes with free spins on Gates of Olympus Super Scatter: 10, 20 and 30. The minimum qualifying deposit is $30. Wagering is 40 times the bonus, so a $500 bonus means $20,000 in bets (our arithmetic). Free-spin winnings carry no wagering.
Slots count 100% towards wagering; table games, live dealer and casual games count 3%. A bonus lasts 7 days unless the offer says otherwise. The terms set a maximum bet: “12.1.5 The max bet size with bonus funds is $5.” We found no cap on winnings from the deposit bonus in the terms. We report these terms as published on 12 October 2026, not as an offer to Australian players, and we publish no codes.
Games and providers
We found no game total and no studio list on the site. The lobby lists we captured from our Australian connection on 12 October 2026 named 70 studios, four of them with no games; this may not be the full set. Among them were Pragmatic Play, Play'n GO, Hacksaw, Yggdrasil, Nolimit City, Aristocrat and Evolution. The site also runs a sportsbook on the same account.
Related sites (not confirmed as sister casinos)
Betzillo runs on the same front-end build as The Pokies: its configuration file carries a version label beginning “thepokies” (12 October 2026). Our earlier research (30 September and 4 October 2026; not re-checked) found one error-monitoring account shared by Betzillo, The Pokies and Royal Reels.
These are shared technical traces, not a shared owner. No source we read names a common operator, so we do not call these sites sister casinos. How we group brands: casino sister sites.
Support and player tools
The home page lists 24/7 live chat and e-mail; we did not open the chat. The responsible gambling page offers a time-out of 1, 3, 7 or 15 days and self-exclusion for up to one year. We found no deposit limit tool and no named help service on it; Gambling Help Online appears only on the home page. We did not test these tools.
How we checked
On 12 October 2026 (06:01–06:25 UTC) we rendered Betzillo's pages in a browser from an Australian connection (Melbourne). We read the terms, bonus terms, FAQ, anti-money-laundering, responsible gambling, about, promotion and loyalty pages, and the lobby lists. We searched the CGA and Anjouan registers on 12 October and ACMA's list on 11 and 12 October.
That connection is a data-centre address, so it does not show what a home internet user sees. We did not create an account, deposit or withdraw. This review gives no score: Betzillo has not yet been scored against our rating rubric.
Is Betzillo legit?
We can report the checks, not a verdict. The terms name “Betzillo Limited” with no country, number or address. The Curaçao licence claimed on the home page has no number or seal and was not found in the CGA register (edition of 9 October 2026) or the Anjouan register (12 October 2026). The brand domain and eight other Betzillo domains are on ACMA's blocked list (last updated 20 July 2026). The terms carry no version date.
What is Betzillo?
Betzillo is a casino and sportsbook on one account; its about page calls it “a fresh and exciting Australian brand” (read 12 October 2026). It runs on the same front-end build as The Pokies. That is a technical trace, not proof of a shared operator.
