Joka Casino and the ACMA block list
ACMA, the Australian Communications and Media Authority, lists two of Joka’s domains on its blocked gambling websites list. We read the list on 12 October 2026; it was marked “Last updated: 20 July 2026”. One of the two is the domain the footer seal validates for Swervy International B.V.
On 12 October the casino ran on another domain, which was not on that edition of the list. We do not publish it or link to it. The lobby opened there from our Australian connection, a Melbourne data-centre address. ACMA says it asks internet service providers to block access to the websites on its list; our one-day check from a data-centre address does not show what a home connection sees.
Joka’s terms do not exclude Australia. Clause 2.7.13 lists the countries it “does not accept players from”, from American Samoa to Wallis and Futuna, and Australia is not among them. AUD is one of four account currencies, with CAD, EUR and NZD (§4.6). What ACMA’s list means for players: online casinos and Australian law.
Operator and licence: a seal that shows INVALID
No page of the site names the company behind Joka. The terms refer to “our licensing requirements” (§5.2) without naming a licence. The site’s review page says the platform “operates under a recognised gaming licence”, with no regulator or number.
The footer seal comes from XCM, Xecutive Corporate Management B.V., which manages Swervy’s compliance; XCM is not a regulator. For the domain the casino now runs on, the seal’s validator said “XCM cannot verify the licensing status” of the site and showed “Operating status: INVALID” (12 October 2026).
For a brand domain on ACMA’s list, the same validator showed “Operating status: VALID”. It named Swervy International B.V., Korporaalweg 10, Willemstad, Curaçao, and gave no licence number.
The Curaçao Gaming Authority (CGA) register lists Swervy International B.V. under licence OGL/2024/1340/0996: B2C, company no. 144876, issued 6 December 2025, expires 6 June 2026, status “Assessment in progress”. We read the edition “Last updated October 9, 2026” on 12 October, so by the register’s date the expiry date had passed four months earlier. The CGA’s certificate page for the same licence number, issued for another Swervy website and read on 11 October 2026, says the licence was granted on 6 June 2025 and its “current status is Active”: the regulator’s two records disagree. We found no CGA certificate for a Joka domain. Joka never states this number, and the register lists no websites, so the licence cannot be tied to Joka.
Joka Casino uses a name similar to JokaRoom, an Australian-facing casino active about 2018–2021; we found no statement by the operator that the two are the same brand. None of the nine Joka pages we read mention the JokaRoom name. The site an old JokaRoom domain now forwards to calls itself independent and “not affiliated with any casino brand including JokaCasino” (12 October 2026). The earliest records we hold for Joka’s own domains are from 2024 (research notes, 24 September 2026).
Joka withdrawal time and limits
A withdrawal requested Monday to Friday waits at least 24 hours before processing, and weekend requests are “processed the following day” (§5.6). During that wait the player can reverse it back into the casino account. The banking page then gives bank transfers “3 to 5 Working Days” and labels e-wallets and crypto “Instant”.
If the pending period lasts only the minimum 24 hours, a bank withdrawal requested on a Monday arrives between Friday and the following Tuesday (our arithmetic). How payout stages compare across casinos: withdrawal times.
The weekly cap is 10,000 “in the players’ currency” (§5.8); the terms set no daily or monthly cap. The minimum withdrawal is €100 by bank transfer and €50 in crypto (§5.7). The FAQ says $20, or $100 by bank transfer; this review goes by the terms.
- Bank charges: an intermediary bank may take “up to $35” on any bank-transfer withdrawal (§5.9). The banking page shows a fee for MiFinity withdrawals and none for other methods.
- Unwagered deposits: if a deposit has not been bet in full, the casino may allow the withdrawal “subject to a minimum processing fee of 10%” (§4.1).
- Verification (KYC, the casino’s identity checks): a government ID, a proof of address no older than three months and a copy of the debit card (§5.2). Without them the account is locked and winnings are voided.
- Self-exclusion elsewhere: the casino “reserves the right to confiscate winnings” from a player who has self-excluded at other casinos “due to gambling addiction and/or financial difficulty” (§5.13).
- Inactive accounts: the terms state no dormancy fee.
Deposits and PayID
PayID is not confirmed. Joka’s cashier is shown only after login, and we did not open an account. PayID appears on none of the pages we read on 12 October 2026, including the banking table. Why we mark PayID as not confirmed until a cashier shows it.
The public banking page says “Visit the Deposit page to see what’s available in your region.” For deposits it lists Visa and Mastercard debit cards, Neosurf, CASHlib, eZeeWallet, CashtoCode, MiFinity, “Crypto Via Card” and nine crypto entries. Withdrawals go by bank transfer, MiFinity, eZeeWallet or the same crypto list.
The minimum deposit is $10 in the FAQ and $20 in the home-page table; a bonus needs at least €/$20 (promotion terms §3.1.2). The FAQ says deposits carry no fee. VIP Room members get a deposit limit of “$5,000 per transaction”, according to the VIP page.
Joka Casino bonus terms
The welcome offer is a three-deposit package of up to $5,000 in bonuses plus 75 spins, wagered 50 times the bonus (promotion terms §3.2.3, §2.4.2). A $2,000 bonus therefore means $100,000 in bets before withdrawal (our arithmetic). We publish no codes; the bonus is picked from a list in the cashier (§3.1.4).
- Per deposit: 100% up to $2,000, then 100% up to $1,000, then 100% up to $2,000, each with 25 spins.
- Spin wagering: the promotion terms say winnings from these “cash” spins “are not subject to wagering requirements” (§3.2.6). The welcome-offer page says 50 times “apply to all welcome offer bonuses and free spins”. The two texts disagree.
- Spin winnings cap: €/$200 (§3.3.2).
- Maximum bet while wagering: €/$20 (§2.12).
- Time limits: seven days after registration to claim the first welcome bonus, 30 days for deposit bonuses, two days for spins (§3.2.4, §2.4.3, §2.4.4).
- Game weighting: video slots 100%, classic slots 75%, table poker, roulette and baccarat 8%, video poker and blackjack 2% (§2.5).
- Cash-out cap: $5,000 or six times the three welcome deposits, whichever is larger (terms §5.10). Three deposits of $500 raise it to $9,000 (our arithmetic).
- No-deposit: the terms cap no-deposit winnings at €/$200 with 50 times wagering (§3.5); we saw no current no-deposit offer.
The promotion terms quote amounts “in euros and/or dollars” without naming the dollar (§3.1.7). The arithmetic behind any offer: casino bonuses explained.
Games and providers
The lobby’s provider list returned 32 studios to our Australian connection on 12 October 2026. The home page claims “19 Leading Studios” and “Thousands” of games; the list contradicts the first figure, and we did not count games.
Studios in the list include BGaming, Betsoft, Booming, Booongo, Playson, Pragmatic Play, Spribe, Tom Horn and Yggdrasil.
Platform, support and sister casinos
Joka’s network log on 12 October 2026 showed the game launcher, back-end layout and chat service that our research notes record for King Johnnie. The same notes (4 October 2026) record a shared seal company, affiliate tracking pixel, analytics and Cloudflare account with King Johnnie and Wolf Winner. These are technical links; no Joka page names a parent company.
We do not carry figures across brands. See the King Johnnie review, the Wolf Winner review and the group in our casino sister sites guide.
Support is by live chat and e-mail; the home page also lists telephone, but we found no number (12 October 2026). We do not publish the e-mail address, which sits on a domain on ACMA’s list.
Pros and cons
What is written down
- A weekly withdrawal cap, minimum withdrawals and a 24-hour pending period in the terms.
- Bonus wagering, maximum bet, time limits and game weighting in numbers.
- Bank charges and the 10% fee on unwagered deposits disclosed in the terms.
What should give you pause
- No operator named on the site.
- The footer seal shows INVALID for the domain in use; the company it names for a listed domain has a CGA licence whose expiry date, 6 June 2026, has passed by the register, with “Assessment in progress”; the CGA certificate page still says “Active”.
- Two brand domains on ACMA’s blocked list.
- Terms carry no version or date; the FAQ and terms disagree on minimum deposit and withdrawal.
- The promotion terms and the welcome page disagree on wagering for spins.
- Winnings can be confiscated from players who self-excluded at another casino over gambling addiction or financial difficulty.
- PayID not confirmed.
How we checked
On 12 October 2026 (06:00–06:21 UTC) we rendered Joka’s home, terms, promotion terms, banking, FAQ, welcome-offer, VIP Room, About Us and review pages in a browser. We used an Australian data-centre connection in Melbourne and captured the lobby’s provider list and the network log.
Later that morning we queried the seal validator, rendered the ACMA list and read web-archive records of the old JokaRoom domain. The CGA register edition of 9 October 2026 was read on 12 October. We did not create an account, deposit or withdraw.
Score: 4.3 out of 10 on our published rubric, which counts only what the casino commits to in writing. 4.5 to start, +0.5 for the weekly cap of 10,000 “in the players’ currency” (§5.8; A$10,000 for an account in AUD, one of its four currencies, §4.6), +0.25 for the written minimum withdrawal (€100 by bank transfer, €50 in crypto, §5.7), −0.5 for the compulsory pending period of at least 24 hours during which a withdrawal can be reversed (§5.6), −0.5 for the processing fee of at least 10% on withdrawing an unwagered deposit (§4.1) = 4.25, rounded to 4.3. Not earned: an operator and a regulator named in the terms (the terms name neither; the company comes only from the seal validator); a monthly cap (none stated); a written processing time (the terms set a minimum wait with no upper limit; the banking page’s “3 to 5 Working Days” starts after it); progressive jackpot wins outside the caps (not stated); PayID seen in the cashier. The ACMA listing and bonus size do not change the score.
Who runs Joka Casino and does it have a licence?
The site names no operator. Its footer seal, from the compliance company XCM, names Swervy International B.V. for a brand domain on ACMA’s list and shows INVALID for the domain in use (12 October 2026). The CGA register (edition of 9 October 2026) lists Swervy’s licence OGL/2024/1340/0996 with “Expires 6-Jun-26” and “Assessment in progress”; the CGA certificate page for the same number, issued for another Swervy website, said “Active” on 11 October 2026. Joka never states that number, so the licence cannot be tied to it.
Can players in Australia use Joka Casino?
Joka’s terms do not exclude Australia, and AUD is one of its four currencies, but ACMA has listed two of the brand’s domains as blocked gambling websites (list last updated 20 July 2026, read 12 October 2026). What ACMA says the law means: online casinos and Australian law.
How long do Joka withdrawals take?
At least 24 hours pending on working days, with weekend requests processed the next day (terms §5.6). The banking page then gives 3–5 working days for bank transfers and labels e-wallets and crypto “Instant”. Withdrawals are capped at 10,000 a week in the player’s currency, and intermediary banks may charge up to $35 (12 October 2026).
Responsible gambling and the law
In ACMA’s words, the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 “makes it illegal for gambling providers to offer some online services to people in Australia”, and ACMA’s list of banned services includes “online casinos” (read 12 October 2026; what the law means for players).
