Australian online casinos with Betsoft
From an Australian connection on 17 October 2026, 36 of the 39 casino lobbies we checked listed Betsoft in their list of game studios. The table shows the 11 of them that showed no “outside of Australia” bar and whose terms we had quoted on withdrawal processing.

We read the studio list each lobby gives a visitor who is not logged in; 25 lobbies were read twice, 30 minutes apart, with the same result. Order is not a ranking. Processing times are what each casino’s terms said on the date shown, not payout times we measured. No domain with the brand name found means not found on that date, which is not approval.
Sixteen other lobbies also listed Betsoft and showed no such bar: Boho, Lucky Wins, Rollxo, SlotsMines, Stay Casino, Vegas Now, Lucky Dreams, JustCasino, Casino Rocket, Wild Fortune, Joka, Ritzo, National Casino, Ripper, Wolf Winner and Pure Casino. Ritzo, Pure Casino, SlotsMines and Vegas Now are outside the table because we have no processing time quoted from their terms; for the other 12 we did not collect one for this page. Some lobbies spell the studio BetSoft.
Nine more listed Betsoft but showed the “outside of Australia” bar: 7Bit, Dazard, Dundee Slots, King Billy, Ricky Casino, RocketPlay, Zoome, Casinonic and Neospin (see the legal section). Rolling Slots answered 403 from Australia, and Casino Moons and Tangiers did not answer, so for those three the answer is “not read”, not “no”.
A studio in a lobby list does not prove that each of its games opens for an Australian account. We did not open any game in these lobbies.
What else is missing from the same Australian lobbies
In all 25 lobbies we read the same way from Australia and from Germany, the Australian list had none of Pragmatic Play, Evolution and NetEnt, while the German list had all three. Betsoft was in both lists in every one of them.
Three lobbies of another format, 21Bit, Casino Rocket and Wild Fortune, also had none of the three in the Australian list; we did not compare those studios from Germany. Of the seven lobbies whose studio list we caught in a browser, five listed Pragmatic Play for Australia (Joka, Ritzo, National Casino, Ripper, Wolf Winner) and one also Evolution (Ripper); Neospin and WinSpirit listed none of the three.
The Australian list was shorter in each of the 28 lobbies we counted from both countries: 45 to 139 studios from Australia against 64 to 213 from Germany. The studio lists do not say why. We found no list of restricted countries on the six Betsoft pages we read on 17 October 2026, and our Pragmatic Play page covers that studio.
Who is behind Betsoft
Betsoft’s footer names Betsoft Gaming LTD, and its contact page and privacy policy give a head office in Valletta, Malta. The studio says it was founded in 2006. We found no company number on the pages we read.
Its about page claims “more than 200+ RNG games spanning slots, table games, video poker, and specialty titles” and partnerships “with over 500 operators and platforms”. Those are the company’s own figures; we did not check them.
The same page says Betsoft works with operators “across Europe, Scandinavia, Latin America, and Africa”. Australia is not in that list.
What Betsoft says about its licences
Betsoft says it is licensed in Malta and Romania, but none of the pages we read gives a licence number, and we could not confirm either licence in a register. Its responsible gaming page says: “Betsoft is also licenced in various jurisdictions including Malta and Romania, and accessible in regulated markets including Holland, Italy, Spain and Belgium.” A second passage reads: “Betsoft is certified by the Malta Gaming Authority and Romania Gambling Authority as well as in Italy and Spain.”
| Jurisdiction | What the studio says (17 Oct 2026) | Licence number on its pages | Register check, 17 Oct 2026 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Malta | “licenced in … Malta”; “certified by the Malta Gaming Authority” | None | No licensee named Betsoft among the 317 entries of the MGA register; URL checker: “URL not found in Licensee database.” |
| Romania | “licenced in … Romania”; “Romania Gambling Authority” | None | Regulator’s site did not load (503): not checked |
| Italy | “as well as in Italy and Spain”; ADM logo in the footer | None | Not checked |
| Spain | “as well as in Italy and Spain” | None | Not checked |
| Latin America, Africa | “licenced across multiple jurisdictions including LATAM and Africa” | None | Not checked |
A supplier can hold a licence under another company name, so the MGA result does not show that Betsoft has no Maltese licence; we have not established either way. The footer shows ADM, GLI and Quinel logos, which are logos, not licence records.
On testing, the studio says: “All Betsoft games are verified by leading certification houses including GLI and iTech Labs.” We did not read the certificates. None of the jurisdictions Betsoft names is Australian.
Betsoft games and their RTP
Betsoft prints one RTP on each game page; for the 12 titles below it runs from 95.14% to 97.79%. RTP (return to player) is the share of stakes a game is designed to return as an average over a very long run: for a pokie set to 96%, that average is A$96 for every A$100 staked, a 4% house edge, and one session can land far from it.
| Game | Live from (studio) | RTP | Volatility | Hit rate | Reels | Paylines (studio’s label) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| The Slotfather | 13 Dec 2012 | 95.69% | Medium | 8.17% | 5 | 30 |
| Good Girl/Bad Girl | 22 Aug 2013 | 97.79% | Medium | 27.22% | 5 | 15 |
| Sugar Pop | 20 Oct 2014 | 97.30% | Low | 58.84% | 5, Cascading | All Ways Pay |
| Birds! | 21 Nov 2016 | 96.48% | Medium | 52.62% | 5 | 25 (Cluster Pays) |
| Charms & Clovers | 16 Jan 2017 | 96.31% | Medium | 35.67% | 6 | 40 |
| The SlotFather Part II | 21 Mar 2017 | 96.60% | Medium/High | 16.46% | 5 | 243 |
| Tiger’s Claw | 22 Mar 2018 | 95.14% | High | 36.28% | 3-4-5-4-3 | 720 |
| Take Olympus | 18 Feb 2021 | 95.49% | Low | 36.35% | 5 | 50 |
| Stacked | 18 Mar 2021 | 96.39% | Medium/Low | 39.83% | 4 | 20 |
| Gold Nugget Rush – Hold & Win | 24 Apr 2025 | 96.11% | Very High | 23.67% | 5 | 25 |
| Birds in The City | 8 Oct 2026 | 95.87% | Very High | 28.97% | 6x5 | Pays Anywhere |
| Phoenix Inferno | 15 Oct 2026 | 96.07% | Medium | 25.65% | 3-4-5-4-3 | 720 Ways to Win |
Figures from the data block of each game page on betsoft.com, read on 17 October 2026; we did not check the game information screen at any casino. The pages show no maximum win. Volatility is the studio’s label; hit rate is the studio’s figure, and its pages do not define it; in the industry the term usually means the share of spins that return a win of any size, which can be smaller than the stake.
A casino may run a different version of a game, so the RTP that applies to you is the one in the game’s own information screen. Our guide to pokies RTP shows where to find it.
Betsoft demo
On 17 October 2026 the studio’s demo frame opened the loading screen of Phoenix Inferno, Good Girl/Bad Girl, Birds! and Gold Nugget Rush – Hold & Win from an Australian connection, with no sign-up prompt and no location message. We did not play a full round: our browser stopped at the loading screen.
The Slotfather’s demo frame said the game does not exist, from Australia and from Germany. This was one check from one Australian data-centre connection, and each title has its own demo. Our free pokies guide explains what demos show and what they do not.
Is it legal to play Betsoft pokies in Australia?
Online for real money, no provider may offer it to you. In the words of the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA), the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 “makes it illegal for gambling providers to offer some online services to people in Australia”, and ACMA lists online casinos among the banned services (read 17 October 2026). None of the licences Betsoft says it holds is Australian.
On 17 October 2026, ACMA’s list of blocked gambling websites held domains carrying the names of 32 of the 36 brands that listed Betsoft. For Crusino, Ritzo, Pure Casino and SlotsMines we found no domain with the brand name on the list that day, which is not approval.
Nine of the 36 showed an Australian visitor a bar reading “In proceeding I confirm that I am currently accessing this website outside of Australia”, or a close variant: 7Bit, Dazard, Dundee Slots, King Billy, Ricky Casino, RocketPlay, Zoome, Casinonic and Neospin. We do not present them as a place to play. Boho’s page code holds the same sentence, but it was not shown on screen in our render.
Parliament passed the Interactive Gambling Amendment (Gambling Reform) Bill 2026 on 19 August 2026; ACMA says most of the reforms commence on 1 January 2027. Our guide to the law on real-money online casinos covers the details.
