Wolf Treasure Pokie: Which Game Are You Playing?

Updated 11 October 2026 · 6 min read · 18+ · How this site is funded

Two different pokies are called Wolf Treasure, a 5-reel, 25-line game attributed to the studio IGTech and a 243-ways game from Onlyplay, and the RTP, features and volatility you get depend on which one the casino has loaded.

Key facts

  • IGTech version: 5 reels by 3 rows, 25 fixed paylines, RTP 96%, medium volatility, according to PokerListings. No studio page publishes these figures.
  • Onlyplay version: 243 ways, high volatility, payout figure 96.6, as listed in an offshore casino lobby that accepts Australian players (not licensed in Australia) on 6 October 2026.
  • The studio name in the game tile or info screen, and lines versus ways in the paytable, tell the two apart.
  • Whichever version it is, ACMA lists “slots (pokies)” among online services that are illegal to offer to people in Australia under the Interactive Gambling Act 2001.

Two games named Wolf Treasure

The name belongs to two unrelated games. Game catalogues such as SlotCatalog and PokerListings describe a Wolf Treasure by IGTech. A casino lobby that accepts Australian players (offshore, not licensed in Australia; not recommended) listed a different Wolf Treasure by Onlyplay in a snapshot we saved on 6 October 2026. Neither set of figures comes from a studio’s own page.

The 0.6-point RTP gap means A$0.60 more returned per A$100 staked over the long run in the Onlyplay version, if both figures are accurate. RTP (return to player) is the share of all stakes a game is designed to pay back over a very large number of spins.

How to tell them apart in a lobby

The studio name settles it: look for “IGTech” or “Onlyplay” on the game tile or in the info screen.

  1. Read the provider tag under the game tile or at the top of the info screen.
  2. Open the paytable. Numbered paylines, 25 of them, point to IGTech; “243 ways” points to Onlyplay.
  3. Look for Money Respin with Mini, Major and Mega jackpots: that is how catalogues describe the IGTech version.
  4. Compare the RTP in the info screen with the table above: 96% for IGTech, 96.6 for Onlyplay (listed as payout).

Do not confuse IGTech with IGT (International Game Technology), a different company. Our online pokies guide explains how to read a game’s info screen.

The IGTech version: free spins, Money Respin and jackpots

The IGTech game has two features, free spins and a hold-and-win round, and every detail below comes from catalogue sites, not the studio. PokerListings says free spins start when three scatter symbols land on reels 1, 3 and 5. During the round, the central three reels merge to show giant 3×3 symbols.

Six or more Money symbols start the Money Respin, which PokerListings calls “a hold-and-win style bonus that offers a chance to win one of three fixed jackpots”. SlotCatalog adds the mechanics: three respins, reset to three each time a new Money symbol lands, and jackpots of 30x (Mini), 100x (Major) and 1,000x (Mega). The Mega jackpot is paid when all 15 positions are filled.

PokerListings puts the top win at 2,000x the stake, “made possible through the game’s jackpot features”, and the bet range at 0.25 to 125.00 per spin, “typically”. Neither site explains how the 2,000x maximum relates to the 1,000x Mega jackpot.

Demo

Sources conflict on whether a free demo exists. PokerListings says one is widely available. SlotCatalog’s game page said on 11 October 2026 that “the demo game is currently unavailable”, while the FAQ on the same page says there is one. Our free pokies guide explains what a demo can and cannot show.

Who IGTech is

Little is public about IGTech, and we found no official website. On 11 October 2026, igtech.com.au did not resolve, igtech.com showed an empty page, and igtech.io belonged to an unrelated IT company.

The catalogues do not settle the studio’s identity either. SlotCatalog’s IGTech list, checked the same day, includes IGT titles such as Lobstermania and Wheel of Fortune, so the aggregator itself may be mixing the two companies. We could not confirm which regulator, if any, licenses IGTech, so this page states no licence for it.

Free spins and no-deposit offers

We list no free-spins or no-deposit offers for Wolf Treasure. Such offers are set by casinos, not by the studio, and usually carry a wagering requirement: winnings from the offer must be staked a set number of times before they can be withdrawn. Our guide to bonus terms and conditions explains how to read those rules.

Offering it is not, whichever version it is. In the words of the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA), the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 “makes it illegal for gambling providers to offer some online services to people in Australia”, and ACMA puts “slots (pokies)” first on its list of illegal online services.

ACMA asks internet providers to block sites offering “online slot machines” to customers in Australia. Its pages checked on 11 October 2026 also spell out the risk for you: if you use an illegal service, “Australian regulators will not be able to help you” if the provider treats you poorly or withholds your winnings, and a blocked site may leave you unable to reach your account.

The Interactive Gambling Amendment (Gambling Reform) Bill 2026 passed on 19 August 2026; ACMA says most of the reforms start on 1 January 2027. Our guide to the law on real-money online casinos covers the detail.

Wolf Treasure FAQ

Who makes Wolf Treasure?

Two studios have a game of that name. Catalogues such as SlotCatalog and PokerListings attribute the 5-reel, 25-line version to IGTech, which has no official website we could find. A 243-ways Wolf Treasure by Onlyplay was listed in an offshore casino lobby that accepts Australian players (not licensed in Australia) on 6 October 2026. The game’s info screen names the studio.

What is the RTP of Wolf Treasure?

For the IGTech version, 96% according to PokerListings and SlotCatalog; no studio page publishes it. For the Onlyplay version, an offshore casino lobby that accepts Australian players (not licensed in Australia) listed 96.6 on 6 October 2026. The figure in the game’s info screen at the casino is the one that applies.

Is there a Wolf Treasure demo?

Sources conflict. PokerListings says a demo of the IGTech version is widely available. SlotCatalog’s game page said on 11 October 2026 that the demo is currently unavailable, while its own FAQ says there is one.

Can I play Wolf Treasure for real money in Australia?

Not through a legal service. ACMA says the Interactive Gambling Act 2001 “makes it illegal for gambling providers to offer some online services to people in Australia” and lists “slots (pokies)” among illegal online services. It asks internet providers to block such sites. ACMA warns that if you use one, Australian regulators will not be able to help if the provider withholds your winnings.
