Casino Moons Has Closed (2026): What We Found, the Fake “25 Free Spins” Domain, Your Balance, and Where to Play Instead

Checked 19 September 2026 from an Australian IP address. We tested the casino's domains, the affiliate redirect we once used, the registration pages and the look-alike domain that is still live. Our earlier notes on the casino date from June 2024.

Casino Moons is no longer online. Its domain, casinomoons.com, resolves to the local loopback address, the signature of a domain that has been switched off rather than moved, and nothing answers on it. What is still live is a look-alike, casinomoons.net, which shows a 2022-dated page promising 25 free spins with no deposit; its register button forwards to a third-party bonus site and never reaches a cashier. We have withdrawn our review and replaced it with this page.

We cannot give a closing date. The casino published no notice that we could find; our last recorded look at the live site was in June 2024, and by September 2026 the domain had been pointed at nothing.

The “25 free spins” domain

casinomoons.net is the page most searchers will land on, so it deserves a plain description. It is one screen: a logo, “25 free spins no deposit bonus + 200% bonus on first deposit up to $500”, two Play Now buttons and a copyright line dated 2022. There is no game lobby, no terms page, no licence, no operator and no cashier. Its only working link, the registration path, is an instant redirect to a bonus-listing site under a different name. The 25 free spins matches the sign-up offer our 2024 notes recorded for the real casino, which is the point: the page is built to catch the brand's leftover search traffic and pass it on. Nothing you type there reaches Casino Moons, because Casino Moons does not exist.

What Casino Moons was

In our June 2024 notes, Casino Moons was an Australian-facing site that claimed to have operated since 2008, ran Top Game and Betsoft titles, and took deposits in cryptocurrency only (Bitcoin, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Tron and ERC-20 tokens) from A$10. Withdrawals were by Bitcoin or Litecoin from A$30, or by bank transfer from A$100 with a A$29 fee and up to 15 working days. Its welcome package was 25 free spins plus A$25 in chips on sign-up, then 200% or a 100% cashback on the first deposit, all by bonus code. The bank-transfer rules were identical, to the dollar, to those at Tangiers Casino, which closed the same way; we take that as evidence of one operator behind both, although neither site ever printed a company name.

If you had money in the account

  • There is no cashier to withdraw from. The login, the withdrawal form and the support addresses all lived on the domain that has been switched off. Keep emails, screenshots of the balance and your wallet's transaction history.
  • Crypto deposits cannot be reversed. Casino Moons took crypto only. A blockchain transfer to the casino's wallet has no chargeback, and the receiving wallet's owner is unknown. This is the practical reason we score crypto-only cashiers lower on the crypto page.
  • There is no licence to complain to. The site never printed a licence number or operator in our notes, so there is no regulator's complaint form that fits.
  • Do not pay anyone who offers to recover it. “Recovery agents” who approach players of closed casinos, often quoting the exact balance, are a second scam; no legitimate body charges an upfront fee.

Where to play instead

We do not name a “replacement”. A casino worth a deposit is one whose terms we have read and whose withdrawal clauses are printed, and our casino list ranks every reviewed operator on exactly that. The highest scores we give are Golden Crown (8.0) and Casinonic (7.8), the latter the only brand in our set that names a licence we could check. If crypto was your reason for using Casino Moons, our crypto page lists which cashiers take it, at what minimums and with which rules on bonus play; withdrawal times gives each operator's payout clause, and safe online casinos is the checklist we use before any site gets a score. No online casino is licensed in Australia; the law on the player's side is set out in our guide to the Interactive Gambling Act.

FAQ

Is Casino Moons still open?

No. As of September 2026 casinomoons.com resolves to nothing and no part of the site is reachable. We have withdrawn our review.

Is casinomoons.net the real Casino Moons?

No. It is a one-page bonus advert dated 2022 with no games, terms or operator; its register button redirects to an unrelated bonus-listing site.

Are the Casino Moons 25 free spins real?

They were the real casino's sign-up offer in 2024. In 2026 the same words on the look-alike domain lead nowhere; there is no cashier to credit them.

Can I get my Casino Moons balance back?

Realistically, no. The site took crypto only, which cannot be charged back, and it never published a licence or company to complain against.

Which casino is like Casino Moons?

Its sister site, Tangiers, closed too. Choose instead from our ranked list, where every score is based on the operator's own printed terms.

Sources and method

Domain and page checks were made on 19 September 2026 from an Australian IP address: DNS lookups of casinomoons.com, www.casinomoons.com and casinomoons.net, HTTP requests to each, the registration paths and their redirects, and the affiliate redirect this site formerly used. Historical facts about the casino are from our own review notes of June 2024 and are presented as history, not as current terms.
