Support Resources
Last updated: 2026-05-11
Online gaming involves financial risk. For some people, it becomes a source of significant financial, emotional or relational harm. This page lists support resources. We are not affiliated with any of the services listed below.
If you are worried about your own gaming
Common warning signs include: spending more than you can afford to lose; chasing losses; gaming to manage stress, anxiety or low mood; hiding gaming from people close to you; borrowing money to game; or finding it difficult to stop once you have started.
Practical steps you can take now: set deposit, loss and time limits before you play; treat any money spent as a cost, not an investment; talk to someone you trust; and consider self-exclusion through your operator or a national register.

Self-exclusion tools
If you want to make it harder to access gaming sites from your own device, software tools such as Gamban and BetBlocker (third-party services — we are not affiliated and make no endorsement) can block access to a wide list of gaming domains. Many banks now also offer a "gambling block" on cards and accounts — contact your bank to ask whether this is available.
If you are in immediate distress
If you, or someone you know, is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency number.
